About Us

The Sangha is established in the year 1980 (on 19/11/1980, Devala Maharshi Jayanthi day) under the adage "Hatthira Banni. Anukoolavaguvudhu". Late Sri P S Gaddi was the Founder President of our Banashankari Devanga Sangha and the Sangha commemorated its Silver Jubilee celebrations in 2005.

Our Aim

To foster and strive to develop friendly relations, mutual help, uplift the community economically, politically, socially, culturally and educationally. To carry out the cultural, social and religious activities of the beliefs and customs of the community.

AIMS AND OBJECTS

Our Objective

To start Sangha Hostels, Educational Institutions, Student Libraries, Cultural Centers etc. for the betterment and welfare of the community.

To find employment and occupations for the young men and women of the community and if necessary train them up.

To start and run Co-operatives and other Institutions for the Community Housing, Banking, Industries and Consumer Facilities.

To coordinate and render the necessary help to the Mahila wing of the Sangha to obtain help from various Government Schemes like Stree Shakti Scheme etc.
